Summer is in full swing now and aren’t you loving being outside and cooking. No more slaving over a hot stove. Just slaving over a hot grill!!
Today’s recipe, is my own version version of barbecue sauce. There are so many different kinds of BBQ sauces out there. Basically, all you need, is vinegar, tomato paste, liquid smoke, mustard, black pepper, and a sweetener, like honey or molasses. You can add anything you want to this basic recipe.
This sauce takes less than 5 minutes to prepare and it tastes incredible. My husband says it doesn’t taste like the highly preserved goop you buy in the store, because it tastes so fresh, but he will eat it!!. It really does tastes so good, I even have it on the side, with my salad. Home made is definitely the way to go. If you don’t want to spend time cooking, take 5 minutes to make this sauce and throw it on everything. Your food will taste amazing and you can relax and enjoy the party, without being stuck in the kitchen.
